About Us

Leader Pharmacy opened in 2015 and is currently owned by Leah Butt.  Leah graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP) and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Microbiology.  Leah moved to Leader in the fall of 2007; she and her husband John run Leader Pharmacy, Leader Electric and farm 4000 acres near Mantario, SK.  They have two daughters, Rene and Jesse.  The family is involved in the local Lions Clubs, as well as numbers activities including past and current involvement with curling, ball, skating, hockey, dance, Sandhills Music Festival, Wild West Daze and more.  Rene and Jesse are both budding entrepreneurs with interests in laser engraving (Leader Laser Engraving) and 3-D printing (Jesse's 3-D Stuff).

Leader Pharmacy employs 2 full time, 3 part time and 3 casual staff.  The Leader Pharmacy team includes Leah Butt (Pharmacist), Paige Wenzel (Pharmacy Assistant), Jana Kobelsky (Front Store Manager), Billie-Lynn Todd (Bookkeeper), Sarah Andreas (Delivery Driver), Leslie Martin (Pharmacist), Nikki Sellars (Front Store Associate) and Amanda Longmuir (Front Store Associate).

Leader Pharmacy supports many groups, teams, events, and other functions through financial donations, raffle items, and volunteer commitments.  Your continued support of our small business allows us to make these contributions directly back to our community.
